This is a runout sensor bracket for use in a new location rather than the existing filament holder.
I purchased a filament dryer, and in order to send it directly from the dryer to the extruder, I couldn't use the existing runout sensor location.
So I looked for a new location, found an empty bolt hole in the upper frame, and installed a new bracket there.
- The Teflon hose sent from the runout sensor to the extruder will be shorter if installed in this location. You will need a Teflon hose that is about 10-20 cm longer.
- Existing bolts can be used as is.
You will need one M3 12mm bolt to secure it in the new position. You also need 4 M3 nuts to secure the runout sensor, etc.
