I wanted a much simpler option for removing humidity from my Sunlu Dehumidifier than what was currently out there.
I opted to use a USB 40x10 fan, with speed control. Something like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B093KMQ2G3?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details , but you can easily go much cheaper if you didn't want the fan control, or wire it yourself. You could just as easily use a 40x20 or whatever 40mm fan you have, as long as you have long enough screws.
There are two options to install, using either insets or nuts. I used M3 - 16mm screws and it seemed to fit perfect, but you could easily get away with 14mm. Make sure to install the fan so it pulls air out. If you still have the 2mm spacer in the feeder hole, you'll need to pop that out. I used some double sided tape to stick it to the device.
On using it, I dont run the fan all the time, as I noticed it recycles the air a bit too much, even with the fan on the lowest setting, so I'll run the fan for about half of the cycle, then turn it off to let it finish.
