I was sick of my flight sim rudder pedals from sliding away from me so I created this brace to hold them still.

Designed to hold the rudder pedals so they don't slide away from you when you push on them harder than they grip onto the floor.
The pieces are to be held together with dowel. The holes are 13mm diameter by 50mm depth, which perfectly fits some 12.7mm diameter dowel I bought for the job (friction fit - no glue required).
Two of each piece is needed. The “front” ones are on the rudder pedal side and are identical to one another. The “back” ones are against the wall - these have one edge cut out which allows a power cable to pass through underneath, which means you need to print one of them “flipped” so the cut out edge is on the bottom of both.
I printed with .2mm layer height and 40% infill. No supports are required. I added some felt pads to the back and bottom to give it some padding from the floor and skirting board.
Dowel can be cut to any length to allow more or less distance from the wall depending on your flight sim set-up.
