i got the measurements for things as differentials, bearings and some other non 3d printable parts from what i think is a kyosho mp7. this is still a work in progress, but i have very little spare time to finish the project. i started it when i couldn't properly use fusion, so it is very confusionary. i wanted to load this as maybe someone could improve it. as far as 3d-printability, every component was well studied, there should be no problem.  . i hope to find in the comunity someone who cold remake the project tidier and easier to work with. i aknowledge this is far from finished, but i believe this model has good potential

parts i would improve

  1. standard screw lengths, to make sourcing items easier/cheaper

  2.  connecting the bodywork to the main frame in a smoother way, without all those chamfers

  3. make the junction between the bodywork tubes nicer

  4. front wheel hubs, the way it connects to the ball joint could be more precise, as now it is basically off center

  5. fill as many gaps as possible, being 3d printed it makes it sturdier and easier to clean.

  6. a bit of  real downforce would be great

EDIT 22/08/2025 v40
new file uploaded, a lot tidier, still some finishing touches to do

  • bridge holes in rear lower wishbone

  •  tolerance adjustments

  • improving the design for controlled breaking in case of crash

EDIT 30/08/2025  v45

  • added some holes i forgot, tolerances in front wheel hub and differentials nailed

  • rear lower wishbone finished

  • changed the suspension rockers to m3

  • still need to improve design for breaking, like in the front wishbones

i'm waiting for some parts off of aliexpress. hope to finish the project by the end of the year

EDIT 15/01/2026 v55

well i was a bit optimistic, the last 10% of the project takes 90%of the time...

i believe that now the model is refined enough to call it alpha phase, i only need tho model the central diff driveshafts, as i fear they will need to be metal 3d printed in metal cause of the strange dimensions.

Other than that, I have all the components needed to assemble the car, but i am waiting for a new 3d printer, that sadly will be shipped by the end of february.

in the meantime, i will upload the .3mf files if you want to take the risk to print it.  for the BOM i can't give a date, but hope to get it ready by the end of april

EDIT 16/08/2026 v57

all these new features need to be tested, but i was already able to put the v55  together, but had to grind some of the metal parts or adapt them, i want this car to be as p&p as possible. i have very little spare time but i will keep working on it.  hope to get it ready by dicember. I still need to find a cheap way to build the center driveshafts. also i updated the screw bob, i tried to lower the number of different screws needed

changed most of the components:
-better tolerances for differentials
-better tolerances for carbon tubes
-changed alignment geometry of the 2 frame parts
-added cuts to wishbones for controlled breaking
-added threads missing in various parts
-reduced width of the spoiler due to interference with tires
-changed geometry suspension, needed to be stiffened
