 — WARNING: DO NOT PRINT OR HEAT THE NOZZLE WHILE THIS MOUNT IS IN PLACE —
You need to take out the hotend cooling fan, so you can install this mount. Which means that if you heat up the nozzle, the heat might creep up to components that cannot handle it.

I've been very satisfied with the MINIMUS hotend shroud, but found no reasonable mount for the KUSBA accelerometer, since my Direct Drive BMG setup was in the way for the ones that exist on 3D print sites. So this mount is the exact size of a 4010 cooler, holds the KUSBA in place for testing, and fits right into the Minimus hotend fan slot.

You will need TWO M3x6mm screws to fixate the KUSBA onto the mount.

  1. Take out the hotend cooling fan and from this point on, DO NOT PRINT OR HEAT THE NOZZLE until you've put the fan back in place.
  2. Unplug and remove your fan so it doesn't dangle and mess with the noise calculations
  3. Slide in the mount with the accelerometer
  4. Do your input shaping tests
  5. Take out mount and put fan back in, after this, it's safe to print or heat nozzle

Filament: Any, since you'll be using this only to do the input shaping tests, where there's no heat, you can use PLA, PETG, ABS or any other non-flexible filament.

You can print this on any combination of settings. But mine is printed with the standard:
 - 0.4mm nozzle
 - 0.28mm layer height
 - 3 perimeters
 - 15% infill
