Description
I created this because I have butter fingers and hate the whole process of punching holes and installing anchors into the ceiling to install the original provided X-Sense mounting plate. I did not want to do this process for each and every smoke detector I replaced in the household.
Solution
This plate will attach to a junction box with screws having about 80mm spacing between the bolts. The provided X-Sense Smoke Detector plate will then attach to this adapter using 3x 6-32 heat set inserts (see link below) and 3x6-32 3/8" Socket Flat Countersunk Head Screw Bolts.
