Well, my wife was super happy with the original version, but then just last night she asked if I could make some sort of stand/bracket that would attach to her potting bench outside, so that she could work on the Bird Buddy in the shade under the deck. So, I whipped up the bracket and made some very slight revisions to the original adapter.
In the pics, you'll find it freshly printed in the new Bambu Lab PETG HF filament. It's attached to the potting bench using some #10 stainless screws with stainless washers.
Yes, you will need supports for the adapter. I just got a roll of the new Bambu Lab Support for PLA/PETG. It's really nice. Peeled right off like a dream. A worthy upgrade from the old Support for PLA stuff.
I printed this at 0.2mm layer height using a 0.4mm nozzle on my Bambu A1 Mini.
