This spool holder hangs off the top of the printer, allowing you to mount your spools on the side of the printer.
Depending on your setup, it might be better for your material to be on the side of your printer, instead of the back. Because its just hangs off the top, taking it on and off is extremely easy.
Just remove the spool holder from the back of the machine, screw it to the bottom of the hanging spool holder, then hook the spool holder off the top of the printer. The back left of the machine is the ideal place to hang it, otherwise you may need to relocate the material sensor and bowden tube.
