This model allows a (plunge) router, fitted with a 30mm guide bush, to be run along a Makita or Festool guide rail. The router mount is drilled, in addition, to attach directly to the Makita trim router plunge base, and to the Hitachi M12V2 router. A locator (2 required) positions the track so that the router cutter is centred between the rows of a standard MFT.
The .step file is included.
There are 2 components to the guide itself:
- The router mount (Router guide (1).stl).
- The rail guide (Track Slide.stl)
The two parts are printed separately, top face down. Then no supports are required. They are fixed together with M4 csk screws into heat-set threaded inserts.
The locator is printed as a single piece, top face down. The hole in the locating peg takes an M8 screw, to strengthen the peg.
