The innovative design allows the bin to hang underneath a surface, like a table or countertop, preventing it from taking up floor space and making it easy to use.
Main Features of the Design:
Hanging Structure and Support:
The trash bin is supported by a bracket that attaches underneath a table or work surface. This bracket securely holds the bin in place, keeping it out of the way and freeing up floor space.
Rotating Mechanism:
The model includes a smooth rotating mechanism that allows the trash bin to swing in and out from underneath the table. When the trash bag needs to be used, the user can swing the bin outwards for easy waste disposal. After use, it can be swung back under the table to keep the workspace clean and tidy.
Bag Holder with Ears:
The design incorporates "ears" or tabs on the upper edge of the bin, specifically designed to hold and secure the trash bag in place. These ears keep the bag open and firmly in place, preventing it from sliding inward when disposing of waste.
3D Printing in PLA:
The model is designed to be 3D printed in PLA, a biodegradable and environmentally friendly material known for its ease of use and durability in home and office applications. The support tray can be printed as a single piece for simplicity or in two parts, as I did, to accommodate smaller 3D printers.

- Improved Nut: It is crucial to use the nut that is included as a separate file attachment, as this version has been improved and corrected to ensure a more secure and functional fit for the rotating mechanism. Be sure to print and use this version of the nut for optimal assembly.
