My Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross PHEV lacks a 12v outlet in the boot so I made one that doesn't compromise the warranty.
It is basically an extension from the DC outlet in the rear passenger area to the boot with a bespoke mount that is a snug fit in the side storage pocket. The double insulated DC cable is routed under the plastic cover below the rear passenger carpet, then under the rear left seat to the side of the vehicle then into the boot area between the tool storage area and the internal boot side wall.
It took two attempts to match the compound curves of the side walls of the vehicle boot area to the mount but the end result is, IMHO, quite professional. So much so it has the approval of SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed)
I added around 80-mm of double sided tape just to make sure it doesn't move or rattle.
