Once I saw the lovely model for a key holder bird house, I knew I had to print one for good friends of mine who were about to move into their new home. However I was really unhappy with the visible screw holes, Thus I took a shot at a slightly adapted house design.
Changes:
- Screw mounting holes are hidden at the back.
- house+roof are now a single piece model
- added roof tile details
The house laying on the back printed well without supports in PLA. The birds of the original model can be reused as I tried to match the original's dimensions.
(Sorry I for the missing photos. I had to fall back to renderings, because I personalized the model for my friends which it included personal info.)
