Design
This is a lampshade I have created to replace the original lampshades of two bedroom lights.
Printing instructions:
- decide whether you need the version with a deep mount or a flat mount. The deep mount can be used both ways - to higher or to lower the shade against the bulb socket.
- print Shade, TopFrame, BottomFrame, and either Flat- or DeepMount
- for the Shade, use your slicer's vase mode
- other parts go standard with e.g. 25% infill
- I have used a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.2mm layer height
- no supports required
Assembling instructions:
- glue both the top and bottom frames to the shade; take care the shade is going slightly into the frames' groove
- snap the bottom frame to the mount part selected
