When making the lunchbox 120x38 fan box remix , I added some parts for mounting the fan with the help of inserts. And when done I figured this could be made available for the public to just be able to add to your own projects.
Had some 120mm x 38 mm fans so I modified the 120mm housing a bit to accomodate this with the help of inserts.
Found cheap HEPA-filters in this size leading me to modify this original.
Depending on what types of fans you use etc, there might be vibrations introduced, further there is by design some leakages introduced with the cutouts in the bottom of the fan caddy, this alleviates that at least.
After using the Flowbee Suck Kut by 3D_DIY twice without this and fiddling with a cut in half soft case as a wedge I made this. Simple enough, does its job in focusing the sucking power at the right end, possibly a little too well 🤣 It…
