Update - revised design available!I added an updated design because recently I noticed on my 40W handle that during the automatic height measurement the M3 screws slightly touched the upper housing when the laser head was moving to the reference point at the rear right side of the Y-axis. If you are already using the initial design, I would propose to check the dimensions on your machine and switch to the updated design. |
Background
I was looking around but did not find a handle that fitted well for my xTool S1 2W laser module. So I decided to design an own one.
Idea
The handle can be screwed with M3x10mm screws to the module, replacing the original screws. The screwed-in depth remains the same.
Instructions
I printed the part in the following settings:
- Printed: Upside down
- Material: PLA
- Nozzle: 0.4
- Layer height: 0.2
- Perimeters: 6
- Infill: 25% Grid
- Support: Not needed
- Wall generator: Arachne
- Initial layer speed: 25mm/s @ 2000mm/s²
- Skirt: 1 loop / height: 2
- Print sheet: Bambu textured PEI
Enjoy!
