Struts to support the bed on the Ender 5 (or similar), to reduce vibrations and generally increase stability.

Buy me a coffee

This is a remix of two other designs. It's fundamentally the 'compressive' model, with my own (more extreme) take on the 'trussed' design. I also redesigned the reinforcement structures on the front plate because... why not.

I'm not an engineer, so who knows what effect is has on the sturdiness, but they work well for me!

The back plates are unchanged, but included for completeness.

Installation

I've noticed these frequently being installed the wrong way around. The files named left and right should be installed as such, when looking at the machine front-on.

Print Settings

Naturally, it needs to be fairly solid. I printed in PLA with a shell close to 1mm thick and 25% infill. It probably wouldn't hurt to go more solid than that.

I've orientated the models to fit diagonally on the Ender 5's bed. The left/right supports are identical, but mirrored.
