I was looking for a PTFE guide. What I found was OK, but I wanted a way to easily modify any initial design.

The solution is based on a MasterSketch - you find it in the project tree.

You change the dimensions in the MasterSketch and while changing see their names.

There are 3 parameters for the base, named BaseXHalf (half of the X side) BaseYHalf (half Y) and BaseHeight (Z). The Base is extruded “reverse”. Please do not change it.

The Tube (round extrusion) is defined by TubeLength - extrusion from base surface, TubeRad - radius of the tube, TubeAngle, TubePocket and TubeXPos.

TubeLength and TubeRad are self-explaining. TubeXPos moves the tube along the X axis.

TubePocketRad is for a full-length hole through the tube. Make sure the hole is not too large

The parameters for the threaded hole (for a coupler) are set in “TubeThreadedHole”. Do not change the sketch. Look at the screen copy where I marked the parameters that are important. My values are for a PC4M10x1.

Any holes for fasteners are handled in the “BasePocketSketch. You handle the holes only!

I am using 2 holes, diameter 3,2mm for pop/blind rivets. Do what you want.

I include a file that has a round baseplate for you.
