This model is based on the description and drawing found in Zhang et al., Separation and Tracing of Anthropogenic Magnetite Nanoparticles in the Urban Atmosphere, Environ. Sci. Technol., 2020, 54, 9274-9284
I changed their design so the connection between the top and bottom part screw together and take an O-ring to seal the connection as I had leakage problems.
M8 thread cutter (inner and outer) is needed, unless your printer is tuned extremely well.
Printed on a Formlabs Form3 with ClearV4 resin and auto support generation (surpress inner supports) + mini rafts in PreForm.
Takes an 1 cm³ Nd-Magnet on the top platform to accumulate magnetic particles underneath when a solution is pumped through the extractor.
For use with 1mm inner diameter ptfe tubes at in-/outlet.
