[DESIGN IS CURRENTLY IN BETA] Updates may be few and far between. The current design is still very much a work in progress but will function and print well once tuned [DESIGN IS CURRENT IN BETA]

Originally based off an existing modified Wanhao i3 V2, the initial goal was to create a core XY based cube printer using as many existing parts as possible, which is why design may look odd in it's current form. Assembly step and BoM supplied for assistance with assembly. Instructions will be supplied with future versions.

Development path:

  • Redesign the core XY belt layout
  • Replace the X-axis rail setup with T-Slot + V-Pulley or linear rail
  • Redesign the extruder to use a lightweight orbital + pancake stepper extruder
  • Redesign the spooling system to reduce extruder torque required
  • Implement a heated chamber
