These PTFE stepdown adapters can be used to interconnect thee 6mm tubing to the 4mm tubing going into the printer, accomplishing a frictionless step down as well as allowing easy access when swapping filament for a MMU solution.
These are designed to work well with PC4-M10 and PC6-01 pass-through connectors. They can be hard to find, but here is a guide to sourcing in the US:
| Description | Possible Source |
|---|---|
| PC4-M10 Straight Pneumatic Tube Fitting (for 4mm OD tubing) | BIQU via Amazon |
| 1/8th threaded PC6-01 Through fitting (for 6mm OD tubing) | Robot Digg (be sure to select PC6-01) and print the -1-8th fitting parts |
| PTFE Teflon tubing (3mm Inner Diameter(ID) X 6mm Outer Diameter (OD)) | uxcell via Amazon |
These parts are designed using build123d and complete source is available on github
