What makes it special
I made this one as my favorite shape in the BEST impossible vortex passthrough series. It is a square pyramid, and it comes in two parts.
The inner piece slides through the outer piece, twisting as it goes. That is the whole trick, and it is why I keep picking it up. I kept the shape modern, with rounded edges that sit well in your hand.
I printed it with a low amount of filament. The design is easy to print, and the two parts fit together without
a lot of fuss.
Print settings
Infill: 0% - there is no overhang
Filament: PLA
Supports: NO
Brim: NO
Fit tip
For a cleaner fit, try this in PrusaSlicer. Go to Print Settings, then Advanced, and find XY Size Compensation. Set it to -0.35 for the inner piece only. Leave the outer piece alone.
Let it cool completely on the plate before you remove it. If you pull it off while it is still warm, it can warp.
Good to know
For a young child, scale it up well beyond mouth size. I would rather you print it large than risk a small part near a small mouth.
