I wanted to light up my HomeCube with a white LED strip and turn it on and off using a small power switch from the outside of the HomeCube enclosure.
Therefore, I modified the original base foot corner so that my switch fits perfectly into it. The cutout for the switch is 19.2 mm x 12.5 mm. The wall thickness for clamping the switch is 2mm.
To protect the wiring of the lighting and the socket, I designed an additional cover that can be attached with 2 small wood screws.
