Wendelstein 7-X is the world’s largest fusion device of the stellarator type. Built at the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics branch located at Greifswald, Germany.
Stellarators have a big potential for commercial reactors design because its easier access to continuous operation, among other advantages.
