This bracket mounts an 11.1V LiPo RC Battery on the back of the sBitx Case. It attaches using the existing threaded-holes with 4mmx8 Pan Head Screws.
Battery Life has many variables; For reference: The 5200 mAh (5Ah) battery I use gives me a couple of hours of "full power" FT8 enjoyment. Note: I always set Drive a few watts below peak or 18w maximum. You'll see the power starts to drop off as the battery depletes. I figure two batteries should get through a POTA session, even on a bad day.
The dimensions of different brands of Batteries in this form factor vary a few mm here and there. The Inside Dimensions of the Cage are 132mm x 46mm x 28mm; It's a bit oversize for some batteries. There are STL files for 1mm and 2mm Shims to tighten the fit to your liking; Or, a few wraps with some tape will work too. Supports are needed for the top overhangs (see pic); Yes, they're a pain to remove.
