Inspired by the Steve Tool by Graber's Pottery. None of the files here will reproduce exactly what the Steve Tool will do - their wheels are much sharper.

I wanted different attachments and alternative handle options.

If you have any problems with elephant foot on your printer you'll need to debur the bottom of all the openings.

Minimum required hardware:

  • 1 M8 bolt - at least 40mm
  • 1 M8 nut

Suggested hardware:

  • 1 M8 bolt - 70mm+
  • M8 wingnut
  • 608 bearing (sealed preferred but just don't get the bearing wet)

Suggested tools and supplies:

  • Deburring tool
  • Electric drill
  • ½-¾ inch drill bit
  • E6000 glue

The set up I use includes a wooden handle with a hole drilled through it and the 608 bearing adapter glued on with E6000. See photos(will be added).

The wheels with bolt holes allow the head of the bolt to be recessed in the tool so you can get to the bottom of the piece your working on.
