This is a tight-fitting case for the wonderful Glasgow Interface Explorer. Designed to be as small as possible, and easy to print/assemble, so no light pipes for LEDs.

There are several versions to choose from. All the cool kids use the one with the PartsBox logo, of course (I am the founder of PartsBox and if you build electronics, you might want to take a look at it!). But not everybody likes branding, so there are multiple versions:

  • “MMS”: lettering and logo for multi-material printers, as separate bodies (pick the right materials in your slicer)
  • “MMS No Logo”: same as above, but without the logo,
  • “Simple”: lettering and logo are embossed,
  • “Simple No Logo”: same as above, but without the logo
  • “Bare”: just the case, no lettering or logo,

If you want a ready-to-go MMS file combining both halves, use “Glasgow Case v6 MMS”.

You will need 4 M3x10 Socket Head Cap screws (ISO 4762) and 4 M3 nuts.

Note: the holes for screw heads and nuts are difficult to print. I don't use supports, but I do set the “Bridge counterbore holes” option in OrcaSlicer to “Partially bridge”. That way the holes come out OK and only require a quick cleaning with a philips screwdriver.
