I needed some way of extracting the smelly ASA fumes out of my garage.

This channels the air from the AUX fan to the outside. There are no additional extraction fans.

UPDATE: I added A Y joint to attach another extractor pipe. This one sucks up the soldering fumes.

If you turn on the BBL AUX fan it creates enough of a draft to create some suction on the 2nd pipe.

Printer attachment

This attaches to the back of P1S where the chamber fan blows out using the 90 degree P1S Attachment

You need to square strong-ish magnets (40mmx24mm). They will stick on their own, but I ended up gluing them in.

Also remove the carbon filter for better airflow. You don't really need it anymore anyway

Ducting

You will need some 100mm ducting from your local hardware store.

There is a joiner pipe if you need to join 2 lengths together.

Wall mount

The Duct Wall Mount goes on the end to attach to whatever hole vents to the outside.

Clamps

The clamps hold the ducting in place and should be pretty tight.

There is a M5 bolt version and another that uses a bolt from stemfie.org

They can be found here https://www.printables.com/model/718256-stemfie-fasteners-screws-fully-threaded-rounded-he

I used the 50mm length one (SPN-SCR-0096)

The clamps need to be printed strong, as they take a lot of force around the bolt area.

I recommend at least 3+ walls and a high infill. I printed them solid as the filament usage isn't that much anyway

This was printed in Elegoo PLA, which bends more than normal PLA.

I would recommend printing the clamps in that or PETG would be better.
