Rectangular interface from knob to vent is little bit conic shape in the knob. 3D model attached as well to fit your needs.
for my application the rectangular interface is a bit too loose and I used 1 layer of tape to fit my needs. As long as you have new vents or turning them on-off once in a while the knob is fine and works. After many years the vent needs much more torque for turning on-off…that is why knob normally collaps…and you need then a pliers to turn it. So knob is after longer time more a design cap than a tool.
