My garden gate used-to slammed shut in the wind causing damage over time, so I came up with this gravity-driven setup to hold the gate when it is left open.
Additional hardware required:
- 3x M6 60 mm stainless steel bolt to fix the rollers (from the top and side)
- Stainless wire rope
- something heavy for providing the pulling force
- mounting screws (8-10G depending on mounting surface)
Printing recommendations:
- Use PETG as it is going to be outside under the sun and needs UV-resistant filament
- 3 perimeters
- 20% cubic infill
