The connection between the main cable and extension is a weak point of the Simagic Maglink. Intermittent disconnects happen frequently with just a very light tug of the main cable. This enclosure keeps the connection nice and snug.
6/12/26:
Thanks to @JonFerraez_2259257 for pointing out that there was a small redesign in the Maglink cable housings that now make this file incompatible. It's not clear exactly when the change happened, but if you bought your Maglink before 2025 then you're probably fine.
1/25/25: There was a request for an STL file with both parts side by side. This user said the library they use for printing has a one file per print limit and that the lead time between prints is weeks long. I've added this to the file list in case anyone else has to deal with similar constraints.
