I like the modular design of FilarworKs Master Spool, but for me it was lacking some features.

  1. I wanted an area to stick a label to without it being unsupported at large portions
  2. My refill-filament was too wide for the standard measurement (+ one spacer) and I didn't want to extend it by two whole spacers (too wide for my storage), so I added a half-sized one (Espaciador12.5mm.stl)
  3. The alignment for the parts was not ideal. When the slots for the cable ties were aligned, the connection between the parts was very loose, easily unscrewing itself during printing. Screwing the threads tightly together caused the slots to no longer be aligned (not a technical problem but my OCD kicked in ;) ). That is what the alignment_spacer_ring is for.
I printed it in several thicknesses (0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 0.25 & 0.3 mm) and used what worked best.
