Update: Do not use this model. It is to close to the hot end and even ASA started to melt after a few prints. I'm using the model made by @TeknikFriK now. It's the better design.

I was disappointed by the performance of the original probe on the SV08. Too much deviation for any serious quality results. Different build plate - new calibration neccessary. No thanks. With an Eddy it would be the same as it reacts to the metal plate and not to the top surface

I found Johns model but after fixing it just for printing I found it a little bit to flexible for my liking. So I added a reinforcement strip in the slicer and i also removed a little bit of unneccesary material but sadly i can't export it with the removed parts straight from orca or prusa slicer. You'll find that in the orca-slicer project.
I also reduced the size of the mounting holes for the probe. There wasn't enough material around for the M2.5 inserts i have. There is plenty of thread length in that model. So no threaded inserts. yay. For  installation reqirements  and offsets see the descriptions of John's model.

The information about wiring can be found here

Printed in Qidi ASA green. The Model isn't perfect. It touches the silicone sock on my stock hotend. It won't last forever but it does the job until i figure something out.

I'm running mainline Klipper on my printer. See the Repo on Github for details if you want to convert your SV08

Please do not use the automated z offset calibration. The MicroProbe triggers the pressure sensor which triggers the calculation of a way to big z offset. Ruined my stock bed that way today for good. Use PROBE_CALIBRATE_BASE and a sheet of paper. On my Printer i calibrated the offset manually and ended up with approx. 0.4mm. The automated process got 1.3mm. so you will crash your nozzle into the bed and scratch it badly if you use it

In my config I moved the bed mesh section to the probe file. John's X and Y offsets were spot on. Please pay attention some stuff is most likely already in your printer.cfg
