This allows repeated realignment of a T-Track fence or other jigs to a set position. This is useful for a sliding carriage fence such as the type used on Paoson's Mobile Workbench with Table Saw & Router.
Use it much the same as a ruler stop. After setting the desired alignment of the fence or jig, insert the slide into the 19mm T-Track. Hold the stop against the end of the track, and then position the slide against the fence or jig. Tighten the screws to hold the slide in place.
Supplies needed:
- M4 x 6mm Heat-Set Threaded Inserts (2)
- M4 bolt, 14mm or longer (2)
Note: if inserts get dislodged, use a bit of CA glue to reseat them.
Here's a thread on the Paoson Woodworking forum where this project is discussed.
