I designed this system to use minimal plastic by taking advantage of readily available CPVC pipe. My local hardware store carries ½" CPVC. A hole diameter of 16.1mm +/- 0.1mm offers a snug fit for the pipe.
Optionally, the frame includes a 90º cutout for lifting out the pipe during spool swapping.
