I can't get a construction pencil to stay behind my ear so I used to jam it between my hat and skull but that had inconsistent staying power. Consequently, I drew this clip up years ago on paper and now having a printer decided to convert it to reality. Upon going to upload I realized there were already numerous pencil holders available but mine seemed different enough from what I saw - so here you are.
The construction pencil Grip-Clip can be positioned anywhere along the length of the pencil allowing you to still use a little nub of pencil or adjust where the sharp end is on a new one for less chance of stabbing yourself. Can be used on the brim or side of a hat, on a shirt collar, pants pocket etc. I also like that it adds a little more grip area in a reasonably ergonomic means via the clip swoop.
