A reusable sharps bin for disposing glass/quartz micro and nanopipettes, commonly used in chemistry/biology laboratories. Although disposable sharps bin are preferred (and maybe mandatory in some places), access to these are not a reality to all places. With this sharps bin you can store the pipettes and later dispose the interna content in a proper, larger/central sharps bin.
THIS IS NOT A CERTIFIED PIECE AND USE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND DISCRETION
The lid locks to the body by a small cleat in the from and a screw in the back. The internal path for the pipette contains two intersecting ramps.
Printed in PLA with support.
*Model of the lid updated as suggested by Dr. Segun Wahad's students Max Deppisch and Georgia Mazuzan at the Rowland Institute in Harvard
