The design is heavily influenced by the SmartPi cases, I have a couple of those for the original display;-) But they did not yet catch up to the newer display2.
So here is a first attempt to keep the display and Pi off my cluttered desk;-) The files are corrected for some minor problems, I found in my print. I'll also include the FreeCAD source files, feel free to adapt things to your needs.
PLA is fine, except for the Pi-cover, things should easily print. For the cover, I used four perimeters, no top & bottom layers, 10% honeycomb infill, and organic supports for the little tabs;-)
Needed hardware:
4 * M2.5 x 6-8mm (to mount the display)
4 * M3 x 8mm (to mount the mounting blocks to the back of the display case, I did not want to create a model with a lot of needed support)
2 * M4 x 25mm with nuts (for the joints to the bottom plate)
The Pi-cover just clips into the back. It's rather tall because I had to cover a Pi5 with cooler and HAILO hat + the display power plug.
I hope, this helps a bit.
