Ulanzi selfie stick fix

This is used to repair the ulanzi 1.5m selfie stick which broke really easily and my lens cracked because of it. Where the plastic mount broke off the stick there was a hole. I threaded the hole with a m5 screw with a slit dremeled into it and this diy thread tapper worked flawlessly. After that I screwed a m5 bolt in and cut the head off.  Then I screwed this insert into the 3d printed piece while still hot and finally screwed the whole thing on the stick. It came out a bit slanted but works perfect! 

You'll need:

2x M5 screw (at least one long)

1x M5 nut

1x M5 insert (or you can remix the model to fit an m5 nut instead)

1x dremel or angle grinder

optional: bit of super glue if the threads are too lose and come undone 

Print the model on its side for strenght.

Lmk if you want the nut version but cannot remix it.
