Please be careful with this knife - It works well for me but it is 3D printed - great for opening boxes, less good for carving.

I loved the "EDC Utility Blade Holder V2" but it needs screws and I loved the "F1 Gen.2" but its a pain to print.
So I made a folding knife as an EDC with a rope/string/twine cutter and a novel latch that lets you quickly take it on and off a keychain. Its 100% printed bar the blade.

It's super forgiving to print - I used no support and no brim with PLA at 40% infill and 3 perimeters but I think other settings will work. I suspect you need a smooth or satin bed. If you are having problems, give PLA a go.

Flexibility is important - no woodfill or carbon.

I welcome feedback - I'm aware blade sizes can vary and this fits Stanley Fat Max blade but if it needs a tweak let me know.

I think the photos make it obvious how to assemble but if not tell me.

It's non locking to keep it UK legal as EDC - its also printed - use caution assembling and in use.

10/1/25 - Made a tweak to the blade size and keyring holder

13/1/25 - Made a V2 with a bottle opener and a filament cutter. Bottle opener requires a 7mm M3 washer which you should superglue in. It also has a built in brim to help bed adhesion. Its 3mm longer so I've left the original up

19/1/25 - Small improvement to the bottle opener

26/3/25 - Tweak to the bottle opener to make it stronger

PLEASE SEND COMMENTS - Are instructions clear? Did you have print problems? Would you like changes?

Thanks
