Threaded Hose Clamp for 50mm Flexible Hoses
Introducing my 3D-printed threaded hose clamp, designed specifically for flexible hoses with a 50mm diameter. This clamp ensures a secure fit by clamping the hose primarily on the flat part, avoiding pressure on the reinforcement wire.
Key Features:
- Secure Fit: The current version is tightened with two cable ties. For those who prefer a more robust solution, a version with screws and nuts will be available if needed.
- Smart Design: The top part of the clamp is unthreaded, providing a neat space to tuck in the hose end.
- Camlock Compatibility: The camlock version includes a recessed section, allowing the lever to function seamlessly.
- Customization: Before printing, check the winding direction of your hose's reinforcement wire (clockwise or counter-clockwise) for optimal fit.
Technical Details:
The OpenSCAD source file utilizes the Belfry OpenScad Library v2. While the current version may be a bit cluttered, a cleaner version with detailed comments is in the works.
