This is a simple mounting bracket for the L Boxx Mini of the Sortimo L Boxx system. These should fit any L Boxx Mini from any brand, since they all use the same system.
Installation
Install the brackets with an outer distance of 27cm (measured from the outer edge of the left side to the outer edge of the right side) or 24.6cm apart (measured from the inner edges of the parts) will work for the standard L Boxx Mini.
Printing
The following printing parameter are a guideline and worked well for me. You might need to adjust these to your specification and/or printer.
Print the model upside down, with the narrower top side on the printbed. This way you don't have to rely on any bridging or support.
- 3-4 perimeter
- 0.2mm layer height
- 30% cubic infill
- 1-1.2 mm solid layers
- No support
You might want to consider printing on the highest temperature setting for your filament that still gives you good printing results to increase layer bonding, as the direction of force puts most of the strain on the layer-layer bonds. However, as the L Boxx Mini is not very large or heavy there should not be too much concern of the print not holding up. Still, better to print too strong than too weak.
Hardware
For mounting the bracket you will need two 3.5mm countersink screws each. The holes for the screw head are 7.5mm in diameter, which should be enough for most brands/types of screws of this size.
