I couldn’t find a choke tube holder that seemed practical for field use, so I designed this.
These holders are made to fit 12-gauge shotgun choke tubes. The dual version has holes for attaching it to a lanyard or similar, and both versions work well for Carlson's Choke Tubes for Remington shotguns (around 3" long). If your choke tubes are longer or wider, you can edit the design in OpenSCAD to adjust the size. See the parameters in the screenshot for a starting point if needed.
To strengthen the lanyard attachment points, I used a box modifier in PrusaSlicer to increase the infill to 100% in that area. Another option is to increase the wall/perimeter count to 5 or 6 in the box modifier, which basically ends up being 100% infill anyways. the rest of the model can be normal 2 perimeter w/ 15% infill or whatever and it'll be fine.
Printed in PETG, orange so when I inevitably drop it in the leaves, water, or snow, it'll be easy to find
I printed the lids with fuzzy skin to give it a little grip
