These flanges are used to convert a standard Harbor Freight 2HP dust collector into a Thein Baffle. The intake converts a 4" PVC to 5" to match the intake port on the unit.
The unit has the following characteristics/mods:
- Blower exhausts out the back of my shop with a 6" PVC pipe through a 6" flange mounted on the wall.
- The blower impeller was upgraded to a Wren impeller.
- The original flange on the blower was cut off and a 6" flange was added.
- The top of the baffle has a 6" flange
- A rectangle to 6" circle was created to convert the output of the blower to the 6" exhast.
In total the conversion uses: 1x exit flange, 1x input flange, and 3x 6" flanges.
Additionally I am using ball valve blast gates, 4" PVC, micro switches, and a LV SSR to control power on and off.
