Have you ever wanted a bolt you can just keep spinning (that isn't stripped :D ) then this is for you!
This is a print in place nut and bolt that will always spin and has a satisfying ratcheting click as you do. A satisfying fidget toy you can play with on your desk or keep with you on the go and can be printed easily with supports on the bottom of the nut as shown in the pictures.
be warned this will only spin clockwise (like your tightening it) as the ratchet system doesn't work in reverse, and can be broken if you try and spin it the other way.
I printed this in PLA with a 0.2mm layer hight and it works a treats. I haven't tested with tree supports just yet but well tuned grid supports make it pretty easy to clean up.
Please let me know if you have any issues with the print as I'm already working on an updated model as this was my first real technical model I've made :)
