The hinge screw is a 3mm x 30mm hex, and the latch screws are 3mm x 20mm hex.
I added the fusion360 model file so that you can use the hinge or latches for your projects. They are separate components and can be copied into new designs.
This was a learning experiment for myself. It is a nice little box, the emphasis on ‘little’. I was just practicing making components and linking them together into a single model, so I wanted something small to test print.
I did use the final model to present my granddaughter a 3d printed starfish. she lost her starfish that went inside her Moana medallion. Hence the dragonfly that was embossed on the top.
as an experiment, i wrote over the emboss with a sharpie and then tried to sand all but the debossed area, but the sandpaper left such a different texture, it was not great. Next time, i may just use the paint in bambu and take the poop loss. ;(
