This is a rear panel for the original NES controller with space and cutout to accommodate a Type-C Pro-Micro (Arduino Leonardo) micro-controller. This has been tested with a reproduction NES controller, but it should work with an original controller as well. I made this to utilize the excellent DaemonBite NES to USB sketch which allows you to plug your NES controller into your PC to play emulators or other games with a classic controller.
Follow instructions on programming and wiring the controller here: https://github.com/MickGyver/DaemonBite-Retro-Controllers-USB/tree/master/NESControllersUSB
I didn't really have a good way to secure the ProMicro board in this build, so I ended up just hot gluing into place. Your mileage may vary.
Recommended to print with tree supports for the backside screw holes. They should remove relatively easily.
