This is a repost of light up sun diffuser for the SETI board game. This is a repost the original model from the great board game organizer posted by cleverowlbear on thingiverse here: SETI board game organizer insert with player and species trays.
I'm re-posting this here after people asked me where I got my light up sun - it seems people are missing the great work of cleverowlbear. So give credit to them - I'm just posting nice pictures of it and making it accessible on printables.
Directions
- Print with a clear PETG filament - I recommend 100% infill, no supports are needed.
- Purchase these LED lights
- Turn on the LED light.
- Put the LED lights in the diffuser.
- Put the sun over the diffuser.
- Enjoy and show off to your friends the next time you play SETI.
Note if you are printing the game organizer - I did remix the card holder to be a single tall stack instead of being split into two stacks, you can check that out here.
