Parametric design for a "false screwhead" mount for 3M Command Strips.
3-Piece design splits the pin in half and orients it horizontally next to a tapered-hole base for maximum print strength, and no supports. Set (or glue) the pin pieces together and insert from the rear of the mount. The hex tapered base keeps the pin in place, pulled against the base and pinned against the wall when mounted.
The variables have descriptions in comments, but for easy modification of the these variables enable the "Customizer" from Window > Customizer tab in OpenSCAD.
STLs included for the two sizes I've used. Example pictures taken to demonstrate each measurement. SCAD file included. Please give credit, it's my first OpenSCAD design!!!
// Pin Diameter should be smaller than the narrow channel of the hanger opening
// Screw Height is the height of the screw from the top of the base to the top of the screw. Should be roughly equal to the depth of the hole in the hanger
// Screw Head is the diameter of the screw head (at the widest point); should be slightly less than the large diameter of the hanger
