These Bottom Modules are part of the Otto Starter modular ecosystem, designed to let you customize how your robot moves, interacts, and competes. The bottom section of Otto is where the action happens: wheels, sensors, bumpers, arms, and special attachments all connect here to transform your robot for different activities, challenges, and competitions.

Whether you want Otto to roll faster, push objects, survive sumo battles, or simply look cooler, these modules give you the flexibility to build the perfect configuration.

🧩 What’s Included

A collection of bottom bases, bumpers, arms, and accessory mounts that attach directly to the HP Robots Otto Starter bottom frame. These modules allow you to:

🔻 Bottoms

  • Serve as the main base where wheels, sensors, and bumpers attach

  • Click seamlessly with the middle and top modules

  • Provide structural support and stability

  • Enable different robot behaviors depending on the chosen bottom design

🛡 Bumpers

  • Add protection for sumo, racing, or obstacle‑course challenges

  • Act as functional accessories (pushers, guards, scoops, etc.)

  • Snap on and off easily for quick configuration changes

  • Encourage experimentation with different shapes and strategies

💪 Arms & Attachments

  • Add expressive or functional robot arms

  • Mount tools or accessories

  • Enhance the robot’s personality or task‑specific abilities

All parts are designed to be modular, swappable, and remix‑friendly, so you can adapt Otto to any activity.

🧠 Part of the Otto Starter Modularity

The Otto system is built around three main printable modules:

  • Top → personality, lights, displays

  • Middle → sensors, faces, accessories

  • Bottom → wheels, bumpers, arms, movement

These Bottom Modules expand the third layer, giving you more ways to explore robotics, engineering, and creative design.
