Peripheral mixer to run with Deej, a client that interfaces with a microcontroller so you can control the audio levels of different apps without switching between them. Pretty neat. This case is my design for the project.
Github for Deej: https://github.com/omriharel/deej
The Github is a great source for building the project with helpful troubleshooting. Folks have posted a lot of their own builds too.
I used an Arduino Pro Micro and 4 potentiometers. Others have used Raspberry Pico and more channels. You're limited by your analog inputs on your controller. You can use slides too which is cool.
Hardware used here:
-Pro Micro (usb-C)
-4x M2 heat set threaded inserts
-4x M2x6 bolts
-4x 20k potentiometers (20k seemed to map the audio level better than 10k)
The case is a pretty tight fit with all the wires, but it managed to come together. I added a small bracket to hold the Pro Micro in place to handle plugging and unplugging the cable, but the insides were snug enough that I ended up not needing it.
